Projects

VeriQual has been providing application development services since 2004 and specializes in end-to-end web development including user interface design, databases, API development, deployment and maintenance.

We have built several hundred applications as offshore partners with various web development companies around the world and also directly for many clients who we have helped to successfully develop winning online applications. Some of the applications we have built are shown below. Several hundreds of other applications which are protected by Non-Disclosure Agreements cannot be displayed here.

Cambridge University Students Union

Brief: The Cambridge University Student Union outreach program required a coordinated effort to organise visits to hundreds of schools around the UK. A central website from where students of the University could search for and find their nearest schools was needed which would assist in organising these visits. Distance calculations were to be done using the Postcode system in the UK, for which a database of latitude and longitude coordinates is available from the Royal Mail.

Solution: A PHP based application was developed which allowed students to sign in using their University of Cambridge email address and search for the nearest schools near their homes. They could then sign up for a scheduled visit to the school. Upon sign up, they were able to go through the various tips for how to conduct the school visits.

Technologies: PHP, MySQL, Distance calculation through UK Postcodes from Royal Mail
